(4 or 8 Hr./$125.00 & $175.00)

If an Armed Intruder entered your school, workplace or place of worship, would your school teachers, administrative personnel and students, company management and employees, or religious leaders and membership know what to do? If you, alone or with family and friends, were out at a mall or some other public place, would you and those with you know how to react to an Active Shooter/Killer event? If the answer is no, you, your school, business and/or place of worship need to learn what to expect during such an incident and how to respond. This course is designed to teach students how to react if caught in an Active Shooter/Killer event to increase their chance of survival. The decisions, and the time it takes to make them, will likely determine if you survive or become a casualty of an Active Shooter/Killer. This class will provide the critical information you need to know and the guidance you require to make quick, but good decisions in how to survive an Active Shooter/Killer event. Because Active Shooter/Killer events are high stress, life and death crisis situations, it is incumbent of everyone to prepare themselves as best as possible with the critical knowledge and mindset needed to survive this type of deadly incident. Knowledge, as well as mental and emotional preparedness are key to your survival!!! This course covers what is an Active Shooter/Killer, who are the Active Shooter/Killer’s targets, the three actions available for Active Shooter/Killer Survival: “Run – Hide – Fight,” “Cover vs. Concealment,” “Situational Awareness,” “Self-Defense/Survival Mindset,” what to expect from responding law enforcement and how you should react to them, how to identify potential Active Shooters/Killers before they commit the act and much more.
